In Their Words I have had the good fortune to work with Mr. Grieco over the last year on a number of educational programs for staff. The programs were well organized, very informative and extremely well liked by the staff members who participated. Mr. Grieco's method of delivery was relaxed, confident, reassuring and unassuming. By the Numbers: In an article published in Preventive Medicine Aldana et al. reported a cost/benefit ratio in their study of 15.60 to 1. For every $1 spent on wellness the companies in the study reported saving $15.60. In the American Journal of Health Promotion Chapman et al. reported a 49.1% decrease in sick leave absenteeism over a 10 year period for companies that had an incentive-based health promotion program. Geotzel reported, in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, a 32.4% reduction in health care costs associated with worksite health promotion plans. Put succinctly, wellness makes good fiscal sense. | WorkSite Wellness What is the process? Step 1: Needs Analysis. Healthworks will conduct a "needs analysis" for your company. Before we can determine the best approach to enhancing the health and wellbeing of your company we have to do a little homework regarding your corporate climate, employee demographics, management goals and such. This can consist of: - Personal consultations with employees, HR manager and/or company officers to determine what types of programs would be appropriate and well-received
- Health data collection.
- Personal interest survey
Step 2: Goals/Objectives. Measurable and reasonable goals are established. Step 3: Program Design. HealthWorks will design a Wellness Program based upon our "needs analysis", health risk assessment and consultations with company members. Step 4: The Presentation. We will then present to the company officers or representatives the conclusion of our needs analysis and program recommendations, offering a "menu" of services specifically appropriate for your company. You will pick and choose whatever items that you feel are best suited for your corporate environment. Step 5: Program Implementation. You decide upon the scope of the program and we handle the implementation and evaluation.

They are designed simply to raise awareness and spark interest. Examples might include: - Smoking cessation brochures

2) Educational Programs - These programs are intended to change unhealthy behavior through knowledge and skills. Examples might include: - Seminars (Download Seminar List)
- Newsletter
